BrisStyle proudly supporting Peninsula Animal Aid!

Peninsula Animal Aid is an animal refuge located just north of Brisbane at sunny Redcliffe. It is a non-profit voluntary charity which was established in 1971 to help find new homes for stray, surrendered, abandoned, neglected and abused cats and dogs. The refuge is staffed entirely by volunteers who work tirelessly caring for and loving a large number of homeless cats and dogs.

Last year, all of the proceeds from our raffle at the BrisStyle Indie Eco Market in November went towards sponsoring a pen at Peninsula Animal Aid. We have just received a photo of the brand new BrisStyle sign on the door of 'our' pen! Doesn't it look snazzy!

If you would like to offer your support to Peninsula Animal Aid, there are many different options for you to choose from. Some of these include becoming a foster carer, sponsoring a pen, adopting a pet (including the gorgeous 'Bourbon', below), becoming a member, purchasing merchandise (including the very popular PAA calendar, below), donating or volunteering your time. Find out more about these options on the PAA website.

'Bourbon' is looking for a new home

If you would like to support the work being done at Peninsula Animal Aid be sure to check out their website or call them on (07) 3284 1927.

How did you know I had a golden cocker spaniel when I was young? I'm sure Bourbon would have charmed Lady if she was still alive. However, she would be 280 in dog years and perhaps a tad too wrinkly for Bourbon.
